Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as assistant facility medical director at North Austin and facility medical director of the affiliated Pflugerville freestanding ED.

Join a high-acuity, busy ED environment and help lead operations across two Austin-area sites. You will partner with the North Austin ED leadership, mentor the clinical team, and focus on quality, patient experience, and performance.

Qualifications

• ABEM/ABOEM board-certified in emergency medicine.
• 2+ years of post-residency EM experience.
• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Active clinical practice within the last 12 months.
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead AFMD at North Austin and FMD of Pflugerville FSED.
• Partner with North Austin's facility medical director on ED operations and performance.
• Mentor and develop the clinical team.
• Oversee quality, patient experience, and performance across two sites.
• Manage monthly AFMD and quarterly leadership incentives.

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as assistant facility medical director at North Austin and facility medical director of the affiliated St. David's Pflugerville freestanding ED. Practice in a busy, high-acuity environment while helping lead across two sites, all just minutes from the domain and 15 minutes north of downtown Austin.
