Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to serve as assistant facility medical director at North Austin and facility medical director of the Pflugerville freestanding ED. The role combines clinical leadership with active ED practice in a high-acuity environment near Austin.

Lead two-site operations, mentor the clinical team, and partner with the facility medical director on ED performance, quality, and patient experience.

Qualifications

• ABEM/ABOEM board certification.
• 2+ years post-residency EM experience.
• Active clinical practice within the last 12 months.
• Texas medical licensure eligibility.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired accepted).

Responsibilities

• Lead across two sites (North Austin ED and Pflugerville FSED).
• Mentor and develop the clinical team.
• Drive ED operations, quality, and patient experience in collaboration with the facility medical director.
