Physician Affiliate Group of New York, PAGNY, is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in the Bronx. The role offers a competitive 40-hour weekly schedule, with a base salary range of $301,600 to $312,000 and a total compensation package above six figures when including the benefits described below.

The department seeks board eligible or certified Emergency Medicine physicians with NY State licensure to provide patient care across all ages in a high-volume ED

• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Active New York State Medical License.

Responsabilités

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exams, and treat patients in the Emergency Department.
• Provide comprehensive and quality care to the patients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other clinical services in the hospital.
• Complete all assigned administrative tasks/charts as required by the Department and hospital.
• Provide clinical teaching and oversight for Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical skills through CME and departmental teaching activities.

Opportunity Details:

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exams, and treat patients of all ages who present in the Emergency Department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition.
• Provide comprehensive and quality care to the patients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, as well as other clinical services in the hospital.
• Complete all assigned administrative tasks/charts, as required by the Department, as well as the hospital.
• Provide clinical teaching and oversights for Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.
• Must be up to date with clinical skills and knowledge base by regular CME, as well as taking part in regular Departmental teaching activities.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active New York State Medical License

Wages and Benefits include:

• Annual Base Salary: $301,600* (Board Eligible); $312,000* (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week.
• The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $427,280** (Board Eligible) and $438,720** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
