PAGNY is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in the Bronx. Lincoln Medical Center is a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center with strong academic ties to Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

The position offers a base salary of $301,600 to $312,000 per year (40-hour week) plus extensive benefits, loan forgiveness options, CME support, PTO, and generous retirement contributions. Visa sponsorship is considered where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exams for ED patients.
• Provide comprehensive and quality care to ED patients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other clinical services.
• Complete all administrative tasks/charts as required by department/hospital.
• Provide clinical teaching and oversight for residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical skills through CME and departmental teaching.

Opportunity Details

• Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical exams, and treat patients of all ages who present in the Emergency Department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition.
• Provide comprehensive and quality care to the patients.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, as well as other clinical services in the hospital.
• Complete all assigned administrative tasks/charts, as required by the Department, as well as the hospital.
• Provide clinical teaching and oversights for Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.
• Must be up to date with clinical skills and knowledge base by regular CME, as well as taking part in regular Departmental teaching activities.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $301,600* (Board Eligible); $312,000* (Board Certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $427,280** (Board Eligible) and $438,720** (Board Certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
