Job description

Work Dates Needed: ASAP nights only for now, with potential for day shifts after 3-4 months of night shifts.

Preferred Schedule: 6a-6p and 6p-6a shifts. Require a block of 3-7 shifts. Only 12-hour shifts are allowed; no 24-hour shifts.

Worksite Setting: Inpatient ER hospital with 54 hours of coverage. Staffing includes 24 physicians and 30 APPs, with an average of 65 patients per day. Night shifts see approximately 1.2 patients per shift. Two APPs are on until 10 pm, and another leaves at 2 am.

Scope of Work:

• ER Level- Level 3
• Percentage of Patients Admitted: 25-30%
• Miscellaneous Job Details: 21 ED beds, 21/3 fast track beds
• Coverage: SOLO/DOUBLE coverage, 24 hours of physician coverage, 30 MLP coverage
• MLP Coverage Hours: 8a-6p, 12p-10p, 4p-2a

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Cert Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS.

Experience: Must be ABFM, ABIM, or ABEM Board Certified with ER experience.
