Job summary

Silverlake ER in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver high-quality, 24/7 care in a freestanding ER. You will evaluate and treat a wide range of acute conditions, stabilize critical patients, and coordinate care with hospitals and specialists in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, airway management, tests interpretation, and procedures such as suturing and I&D, with emphasis on compassion and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required with board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Texas license or active eligibility is required for practice.
Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Provide rapid assessment and treatment for all ages in a freestanding ER.
Stabilize critically ill patients and manage airway needs and resuscitation.
Order and interpret labs and imaging with modern diagnostic tools.
Coordinate dispositions with hospitals, transfer, or discharge plans.
Document encounters in the EMR and participate in quality improvement.

Job description

Silverlake ER in Fort Worth, TX seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality, 24/7 care in a freestanding emergency center. You will evaluate and treat a wide range of acute and emergent conditions, stabilize critical patients, order and interpret labs and imaging using modern diagnostic equipment, and coordinate care and dispositions with hospitals and specialists. Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and emergent conditions for all age groups.
Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients, including airway management and resuscitation.
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
Perform common emergency procedures such as suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, and wound care.
Use point-of-care ultrasound and modern diagnostic equipment to guide clinical decisions.
Coordinate patient dispositions, including admission, transfer, or safe discharge with clear follow-up plans.
Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other clinicians to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
Participate in quality improvement, protocol development, and clinical best practices.
Uphold a culture of compassion, professionalism, and teamwork in a fast-paced ER setting.
