Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or active EM experience with primary care background.
• Active Missouri state medical license and DEA/BNDD active.
• ACLS certification required.
• Emergency Medicine experience required.
• CME within the past 2 years; maintain procedure logs and immunization records (flu, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, COVID); Quantiferon TB test or 2-Step PPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a 10-bed ED, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage trauma, minor care, and hazmat cases as needed.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Coordinate with on-call specialists (OB, Radiology, Urology) for patient referrals.
• Document patient encounters in PowerChart/PowerDocs EMR and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
