IMP Locum Tenens, LLC seeks an Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens coverage in Dexter, Missouri. The role offers flexibility with 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 7a-7a, or 7p-7p shifts and ASAP start for a facility with 14 beds and an Epic EMR.

Privileges are required with temporary options available; travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage are provided by the vendor. The position supports a busy ED with ~42 patients per day and a collaborative team of RNs, APPs, and office staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and provide acute care for patients presenting in the emergency department.
• Manage medical emergencies, trauma resuscitations, and critical care interventions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and primary care providers to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the Epic EMR system.
