Job summary

SCP Health - Locums in Greenwood, Mississippi seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage at UMMC Greenwood Leflore.

You will provide ED care, manage life-threatening conditions, perform procedures such as intubation and central lines, and collaborate with staff. Must hold ABEM/ABFM or ABIM credentials, MS license, and active DEA. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in EM, FM, or IM per ABEM/ABFM/ABIM/AOBEM/AOBFM/AOBIM.
• Active Mississippi medical license and DEA registration with Mississippi address.
• Active DEA registration (Schedules II–V).
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical EM experience or residency training in IM/FM.
• Current CV with dates, case logs from past 2 years, CME/CEU documentation, malpractice history, and immunization records.

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to ED patients.
• Manage acute and life-threatening conditions per standard protocols.
