Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to cover a locum assignment in Dexter, Missouri. Shifts offered include 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a / 7p-7p, ASAP through Aug 31, 2028, with Epic EMR in use and a 14-bed ED.

Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance are provided by the vendor. Qualifications include MO license or IMLC, DEA, and BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS certification, with 3–5 years EM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine required.

• Certifications BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and provide acute care in the ED.
• Manage emergencies, trauma resuscitations, and critical care interventions.
• Order/interpret labs and imaging; document encounters in Epic.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and PCPs for coordinated care.
