Job summary

U.S. Army 3rd Medical Recruiting Battalion is seeking an emergency medicine physician to serve as an officer on the Army health care team.

You will work alongside top clinicians and use advanced technology to deliver care to Soldiers and their families worldwide. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited US school (foreign grads may apply with ECFMG cert)
• Current US license to practice medicine (US/ DC/ PR)
• Eligibility for board certification in EM
• Completion of at least 1 year of ACGME internship
• Training program in emergency medicine
• Between 21 and 42 years of age
• US citizenship

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care as a physician-officer on the Army health care team
• Serve Soldiers and their families as part of a dedicated medical unit

Requirements include:

• Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
• Eligibility for board certification
• Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
• Completion of a training program in emergency medicine
• Between 21 and 42 years of age
• U.S. citizenship
