Job description

Envision Physician Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Critical Care Physician to join the ED & ICU/CCU teams at Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital. This position also offers opportunities to work ED shifts in Ann Arbor.

Minimum requirements: Primary Board Certification in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Board Certification (ABA, ABEM, ABIM, ABS). Only qualified physicians will be contacted.

Position Profile:

1. Comfort with procedures.
2. Approximately 1.3 admissions/consults daily.
3. Manage 6 ICU beds with an evolving acuity-adaptable care unit adjacent to ICU.
4. Physician coverage: 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with nocturnal home call supporting ICU Advanced Practice Providers.
5. Advanced Practice Provider coverage: 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
6. Annual ED volume of 21,000 cases, ranging from life-threatening cardiac arrests and strokes to major and minor injuries.
7. 20 private ED rooms.
8. Tele-ICU capabilities for home call.
9. EPIC EMR system.
10. W2 employment status with a comprehensive benefits package.
