Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant – Emergency to support the physician staff in delivering medical services to patients. The role will perform comprehensive initial evaluations, coordinate treatment plans, and order labs and imaging as needed within legal limits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and PA program completed.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant within the first 3 months.
• Certification as a Physician’s Assistant and BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete initial evaluations and medical histories.
• Coordinate treatment plans under supervising physician.
• Order labs, imaging and diagnostic studies as needed.
• Develop and implement patient care plans for diverse ages.
• Communicate with patients, families and team members.
• Assist with rounds and participate in patient disposition.
