Job summary

Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the AMG Specialist Group: ED Oshkosh - Emergency Medicine. The role requires evaluating patients, establishing diagnoses, and formulating age-appropriate treatment plans while ordering diagnostic tests and therapies.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, provide patient and family education, and maintain precise EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active PA license(s) in state of practice
• National board certification from NCCPA
• DEA registration prior to hire
• If Illinois practice: IL Controlled Substance License
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and manages treatment plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition.
• Orders, performs, interprets diagnostic studies and prescribes interventions.
• Provides health promotion and disease prevention counseling for patients and families.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and seeks referrals as needed.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation and compliant coding/billing.
• Participates in quality, safety, and education activities.
• Mentors new team members and supports ongoing professional development.
