223 Aurora Medical Group, Inc. in Oshkosh, WI seeks a Part-time Physician Assistant for Emergency Medicine. You will evaluate, diagnose and manage acutely ill and critically ill patients in an inpatient hospital setting.

You’ll work closely with physicians, supervise nursing staff, and coordinate care across the continuum including discharge planning and referrals. The role requires a PA license, NCCPA certification, and DEA registration (ACLS within 6 months unless exempt).

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant license issued by the state.
• PA-C certification by NCCPA.
• DEA registration; ACLS certification within 6 months unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage acute/critical patients in a hospital setting.
• Serve as primary patient and physician contact; coordinate with specialty team.
• Ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions; document care plans.
• Provide clinical direction to nursing staff and supervise care delivery.
• Prescribe and manage therapies across care settings; perform procedures as needed.
• Coordinate pre-operative plans, discharge planning and referrals.
