Advocate Health in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is seeking a Physician Assistant for Emergency Medicine coverage. The role requires 12-hour shifts, with a 33-hour work week and a rotating grid across Oshkosh, Bay Area (Marinette), and Sheboygan.

Includes holiday and weekend hours and one shift per pay period at Oshkosh. The candidate must hold PA licensure in the practice states, board certification from NCCPA, DEA registration, and appropriate BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials, with a degree in Physician

Formación

• Active PA license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND
• Active PA national board certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire, AND
• If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire, AND
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, diagnoses, and determines treatment and management plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition.
• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies and prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
• Maintains documentation in the EMR and ensures compliant coding/billing practices.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team and escalates care when necessary.
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives and onboarding of new staff.
