Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an experienced Operations & HR Manager to supervise the administrative services of the Department of Emergency Medicine. You will oversee IT, facilities, HR, and budgetary processes, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer and Division Chief.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to prioritize under pressure while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy. This is a full-time on-site position in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience / training.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of lead/supervisor/manager experience.
• Solid knowledge of budget, account and fund management and personnel management within labor contracts and policies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise administrative services for the department and related operations.
• Perform short- and long-term planning for administrative functions.
• Advise administration and interpret applicable policies and procedures.
• Ensure accountability and stewardship of department resources (financial, human) in line with goals.
