Job summary
MUSC Health and Tidelands Health seek a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their Advanced Practice Providers team in a PRN capacity. This role serves Georgetown and Horry Counties within the Tidelands Health system, delivering diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care.

Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below.
- 2 years of Emergency Room Experience as an APP or graduation from an Emergency Room Fellowship (if APRN, 4 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an Adult Emergency Department).
Responsibilities
- Takes comprehensive history and performs physical examinations.
- Evaluates and treats based on history, exam, tests, and guidelines.
- Administers local and digital anesthesia and performs repairs of lacerations.
- Performs wound care, foreign body removal, and splinting.
- Initiates referrals and consults with physicians.
- Documents and bills for direct care provided.
