Job summary

The selected candidate will serve as an attending physician providing clinical coverage in the Stony Brook University Hospital Emergency Department, while teaching and supervising residents and medical students; contributing to successful research programs; and providing service in an administrative capacity as required.

In addition to working at the hospital, the role may include duties atImmediate Care locations in Commack and future sites, as well as Easthampton and Eastern Long Island

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree with Emergency Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for New York State medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage as attending in the ED at Stony Brook University Hospital.
• Teach and supervise residents and medical students; participate in patient care education.
• Contribute to research programs and engage in administrative duties as required.
• Possible duties at Immediate Care locations based on needs.
