The selected candidate will be responsible for serving as an attending physician providing clinical coverage at Stony Brook University Hospital Emergency Department, teaching and supervising residents and medical students; contributing to successful research programs; and providing service in an administrative capacity as required. In addition to working at Stony Brook University Hospital, the selected candidate may also work at one of our Immediate Care locations in Commack and future sites, as well as Easthampton and Eastern Long Island Hospital based on operational needs.
Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
