Job summary

Guidewell-Emergency-Doctors seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver emergency care in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The APP will perform H&P, exams, minor procedures, and drive quality treatment plans for patients of all ages.

Candidates must hold a Florida license (PA/ARNP), DEA registration, and PALS/ACLS certification, with ability to credential across facilities within a 50-mile radius. A strong clinical background and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Master's NP or PA strongly preferred; bachelor's acceptable in some cases.
• Active, clear Florida license (PA/ARNP).
• Active DEA license required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must be credentialed at each facility where you work.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Perform H&P and physical exams.
• Make quality medical decisions and write prescriptions.
• Perform minor procedures (I&D, sutures, pelvic exams).
• Arrange follow-up within our facility or with a specialist.
• Review external diagnostic results and plan care accordingly.
• Treat patients of all ages with mild to moderate complaints.
• Maintain door-to-provider times and support facility metrics.
