TeamHealth has a full-time opportunity for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency medicine team at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California.

This is the largest ED in San Joaquin County, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong support and opportunities for growth. We seek candidates with at least 2 years of EM experience as a PA or NP, current ACLS and PALS, and California licensure or eligibility.

Stockton is located in the Central Valley less than an hour south of Sacramento and within a commutable distance to Napa, San Francisco, and Modesto. About St. Joseph's Medical Center's Emergency Department

• Annual patient volume of 110,000
• 64-bed ED
• EMR: Cerner
• 77 hours of physician coverage
• 48 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements

• Boarded through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• We ask that you have a minimum of 2 years of EM experience as a PA or NP to apply
• Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
• California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date

Pay Structure

• W2 employee status
• Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $100 to $105 per hour
