TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our dynamic team at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California.

This role offers a large ED with a collaborative environment and robust support for work-life balance. The position requires ABEM/AOBEM board certification or board preparation, California licensure, and current ACLS/PALS/ATLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Board prepared or board certified in emergency medicine through ABEM or AOBEM
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
• California medical license or ability to obtain prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Provide EM care in the ED at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA
• Participate in established fast-track and hospitalist programs to streamline workflow
• Collaborate with medical director and backup specialties to ensure high-quality patient care
