Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the emergency department team at Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi, California. This role includes providing emergency care within a multidisciplinary team and requires a minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience.

Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate between $100 to $105. Ideal candidates will have ACLS and PALS certifications, along with the ability to obtain a California medical license.

About the Position

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the emergency department team at Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi, California.

Location: Lodi, California (approximately 30 minutes from Sacramento). The emergency department serves an annual patient volume of 65,000 and is a Level III, 32‑bed ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Cover 40 hours of APC (Advanced Practice Coverage).
• Utilize the EDEMR: Cerner system for patient management.
• Maintain current ACLS and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Boarded through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine (EM).
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• California medical license or the ability to obtain one prior to the start date.

Compensation & Benefits

W2 employee status; competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $100 to $105 per hour.
