Now HealthCare in Marion, Indiana is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician (BC/BE) to join a nonprofit health system with a new ER and strong community ties.

The role offers 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00) with a 4-on/8-off schedule, about 25,000 annual visits, and Meditech EMR. Indiana license preferred; ABEM/board-certified candidates strongly considered.

Qualifications

• Emergency Medicine MD or DO degree required.
• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine; FM/IM accepted if ABEM certified or ER experience.
• Licensed in Indiana or in process.

Responsibilities

• Work in a new building, new ER in Marion.
• Shift hours: 12-hour shifts 7AM–7PM; 7PM–7AM; 12NOON–12MIDNIGHT.
• Annual ER volume: 25,000 visits.
• Staffing mix: 36 hours of MD/DO coverage daily.
• Coverage: Single coverage from 3AM to 7AM; mix of mid-levels and physicians.
• Full-time: 4 days on and 8 days off (1,460 hours/year).
• Treat ment rooms – 7; Behavioral Health rooms – 2; Trauma rooms – 2; Observation/Admit – 4.
• Meditech EMR.
