The Atlantic Mobile Health Department is proud to announce the establishment of the Emergency Medical Technician Trainee program. The goal of the program is to provide selected candidates with the necessary training to become a certified EMT. Trainees will undergo 12 weeks of paid full-time field and classroom training to meet state requirements for EMT certification.

Successful completion of the program will lead Trainees to transition into full time EMT roles within Atlantic Health System.

• Providing pre-hospital care to sick/injured patients
• Providing inter-facility medical transportation
• Assisting in emergency scenarios

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma required

Experience:

• Customer service experience preferred
• Healthcare experience preferred

License/Certifications:

• Valid driver's license, free of driving restrictions

About the Team Atlantic Mobile Health is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing the finest air and ground medical transportation services. We offer immediate and emergent response to municipalities and facilities, as well as non-emergency transportation for patients who need stretcher transportation. The MICU is an emergency response unit that augments the basic life-support therapies provided by local first aid squads and fire departments.
