About the Job

Job Purpose:

The Remote Technician (RT) Manager will serve customers by assisting in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will oversee and advise all remote technician staff while ensuring operations are profitable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Meets or exceeds monthly sales/profit goals.
  2. Fulfills operational requirements by effectively managing remote software, workflow, and reviewing work results.
  3. Responsible for buybacks.
  4. Ensure quarterly and annual vehicle inspections and/or repairs are completed.
  5. Maintains talented staff by properly training and consistently coaching employees.
  6. Achieves financial objectives by controlling expenditures; analyzing variances and metrics and initiating corrective actions.
  7. Preserves success by coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies/procedures.
  8. Builds brand by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
  9. Ensures routes and schedules are optimized for best efficiency.
  10. Leads team effort by accomplishing required tasks as needed.
  11. Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment.
  12. Provide recommendations for problem resolution and proper repair estimates.
  13. Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple-to-understand manner.
  14. Oversee and adjust remote availability as needed.
  15. Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards.
  16. Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor.
  17. Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
  18. Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all remote stock.
  19. Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and real-time status of each repair.
  20. Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicles.
  21. Assists other assigned stores as needed.
  22. Hires, disciplines, and terminates staff.
  23. Other duties as assigned.

  11. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  13. Valid Driver’s License.
  14. Ability to pass driving, drug, and background screening.
