The Kansas City Zoo is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to provide essential medical care and support to patrons and staff. This role involves administering first-aid, handling lost child situations, and maintaining accurate incident reports. Ideal candidates should hold a high school diploma and have EMT licensure. The position requires experience, flexibility in scheduling, and strong communication skills.
Under supervision of partnering medical providers and the Security Manager, the Emergency Medical Technician provides professional services to Zoo & Aquarium patrons or staff requiring basic medical care, directional or customer service assistance.

Administers first-aid to Zoo & Aquarium patrons and staff, according to established protocols and levels of training, including:
Takes the lead in lost children situations, working to reunite children with parents/guardians.

Assists with monthly AED checks
