Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. in Massachusetts seeks an EMT-B to provide safe, efficient response, treatment, and transport for emergent and non-emergent requests.

The EMT-B will assess patients, administer basic life support, operate ambulances, and document care. You will deliver care on scene and during transport, maintain equipment, complete PCRs, and communicate with hospital staff, EMS agencies, and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Current MA Basic EMT certification in good standing.
• 2-4 years of prior EMs experience preferred; 0-1 year required.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care per policies and protocols.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide BLS on scene and during transport.
• Operate the ambulance safely and comply with laws and policies.
• Complete vehicle/equipment checklists and ensure readiness.
• Record patient care and submit PCR documentation daily.
• Communicate effectively with patients, EMS, and hospital staff.
