Job summary

Adventist Health Tillamook is seeking an EMT to support direct and indirect patient care under supervision of RNs and providers. The role focuses on developing individualized care plans and acting as a clinical resource for students and volunteers.

Qualified candidates hold an EMT certification, CPR/BLS, and an Oregon EMT license (National Registry preferred). Additional certifications such as PHTLS, EVOC/EVOS, and AHA BLS are required by policy. A valid driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED required.
• EMT Certification required for employment.
• CPR/BLS certification required by policy.
• Oregon EMT license required; National Registry preferred.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required in OR.
• NAEMT PHTLS or equivalent within 6 months required.
• EVOC/EVOS or equivalent required in OR.
• EMT or National EMT (NEMT) certification required.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Develops individualized care plans for patient presentation.
• Acts as clinical resource for students, orientation participants, and volunteers.
• Collects, records and communicates basic patient data and status.
• Maintains equipment, sterilization, and safety practices per policy.
