Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization preferred.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care under the direction and guidance of their provider.
• Rooms patients and obtains vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Performs wound care, splinting, IV skills and assists during medical emergencies.
• Coordinates and documents referrals to other physicians or clinics.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
