Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated EMT to join our Emergency Department (ED) team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves delivering immediate medical care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring efficient ED operations. No ambulance work is required.

• Assist with patient triage and assessment in the ED
• Administer basic life support (BLS) and emergency procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, report changes
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Support patient transport within the hospital
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with healthcare team to execute care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related experience
• Basic EMT training or ER experience
• Current BLS certification, maintained regularly
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications within 30 days of hire, maintained regularly
• Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency
