Position: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

1. Responsibilities:
2. Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services for emergency and non-emergency requests, ensuring safe and prompt patient transportation.
3. Assess, triage, communicate, treat, and transport patients of all ages in various settings, including emergency, non-emergency, standby, and special events.
4. Work seamlessly with other emergency agencies such as police, fire, ALS, and healthcare providers.
5. Complete patient care reports for each patient and support departmental operational tasks.
6. Operate in potentially hazardous and uncontrolled environments, adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
7. Ensure all actions comply with New Jersey regulations (N.J.A.C. 8:40) and HMH policies and procedures.
