Position Summary:

Responds to calls for emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed and necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate's Degree preferred; graduate of a recognized program in discipline; validated by current state licensure.

License:

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-P)

Certifications:

• Current valid Class D (Chauffeurs) Iowa driver's license and Iowa EMT or PM certification. Motor vehicle record submission required during screening.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.

Minimum Work Experience:

• Experience as a FR, EMT, or Paramedic preferred (paid or volunteer).
