Geisinger is seeking a New EMT with starting rates and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Day shift includes a $2/hour transport premium and nights include a $2/hour differential. Full benefits begin on day one, with multiple medical plans, retirement contributions, and generous PTO.

Candidate must hold a High School Diploma or GED, EMT certification in PA, and a valid driver’s license. The role involves ambulance operation and direct patient care in a clinical setting.

Job Duties

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.

Certified Sterile Processing Technician within 18 months - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD); Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator - Default Issuing Body; Valid Driver's License - Default Issuing Body; Certified Emergency Medical Technician - State of Pennsylvania
