Geisinger Emergency Medical Services Rohrsburg is hiring a New EMT to join our clinical team. You will assess patients, provide emergency care, document care, and transport patients in accordance with policies.

Starting rates include a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a $2/hour transport premium for day shifts, and a $2/hour night shift differential, with full benefits from day one. Candidates must have a high school diploma, PA EMT certification, and valid driver’s license; our program supports tuition

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - Required.
• Certification(s) and License(s): Pennsylvania EMT certification, Sterile Processing Technician certification within 18 months, EMS Vehicle Operator, valid driver’s license.

New EMT Starting Rates!! EMTs are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus a $2/hour transport premium for day shifts and a $2/hour shift differential for nights.

Job Duties:

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
• Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
