Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Ability to perform EMS duties in a timely, safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support and operate EMS vehicles per state act and protocols.
• Assess patients to determine required care and intervene accordingly.
• Deliver emergency care using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety during transport.
• Ensure clean, stocked, and safe environment for patients.

Job Summary:

New EMT Starting Rates!! EMTs are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus a $2/hour transport premium for day shifts and a $2/hour shift differential for nights.

Job Duties:

• Provides basic life support and operates vehicles in accordance with the Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Act 37 and consistent with related rules, regulations and regional protocols.
• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
• Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
• Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
• Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
