Job summary

Geisinger is seeking EMTs to examine and stabilize patients, provide emergency and life-support care, document conditions, and transport patients per policy. You will work in a clinical setting with responsibilities including patient confidentiality and a safe, well-equipped environment.

Specialized shift differentials and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role. New EMT starting rates are offered, with a $5,000 bonus and day/night shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care.
• Provide emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Provide basic life support and gather patient data.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights.
• Transport patients in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws.
