Salary Range: $22.33 - $35.95/Hour; Hiring Rate (Basic $55,692; Advanced $58,477)
The purpose of this classification is to respond to and assist on emergency and non-emergency medical calls, disasters, multi-casualty situations, fires, and other emergencies; treat illnesses and injuries of adult and pediatric patients, often under stressful and hazardous conditions, while operating under a complex system of standing orders.
High school diploma or GED required; one year experience as an EMT preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s License, current Georgia EMT B or A certification, BLS/CPR, and Infection Control certificates. Additional certifications may be required.
