Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Medical Response Technician to provide basic protection for patrons, employees and assets. Under direction of Security supervisors, you will maintain a visible security presence and respond to emergencies with a calm, customer‑focused approach.

The role requires a High School diploma, CPR/AED certification, and the ability to work flexible events. You will document medical calls, operate EMS equipment, and coordinate with Supervisors to ensure safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Must obtain and maintain licenses/certifications per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical care within cert limits.
• Maintain security and report unusual situations.
• Disinfect and maintain EMS equipment and rooms.
• Document medical calls thoroughly and accurately.
• Notify Supervisors of equipment or supply issues.
