Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join the casino’s emergency medical team. You will administer first aid, respond to emergencies, and transport patients to medical facilities as needed.

The role requires EMT certification, at least two years of EMS experience in ambulance service, military, or medical facilities, and a high school diploma or GED. Compliance with state gaming regulations is also expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to write reports.
• Ability to use a telephone properly.
• Ability to read and understand memos.
• Knowledge of emergency trauma. Good public relations/customer service skills.
• Knowledge of required OSHA regulations.
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and administer emergency first aid.
• Coordinate transport of ill or injured persons to a medical facility.
• Perform security duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete paperwork and enter data into a computer.
• Maintain safety and security for guests and team members.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
