Job summary

UPMC Center for Emergency Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Pilot to support STAT MedEvac operations at the Center for Emergency Medicine facility in West Mifflin, PA. The role requires extensive flight hours, PIC experience, and strict adherence to FAA regulations and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 total helicopter flight hours.
• 1,000 total PIC helicopter flight hours.
• 200 night flight hours (at least 100 hours unaided).
• 100 instrument hours.
• 500 turbine hours.

Responsibilities

• Reports for work well rested and fit for duty.
• Adheres to FAA drug and alcohol policy and flight regs.
• Coordinate with flight followers for currency and weather; ensure regulatory duty limits.
• Maintain airworthiness and currency of required qualifications.
• Complete postflight paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensure safety and professional conduct during all flights.
