Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Pilot for its MedEvac 17 unit in Harborcreek, PA. The role demands adherence to safety protocols, effective communication during flights, and a thorough understanding of FAA regulations. Responsibilities include managing the safety of aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with training and documentation requirements, and maintaining clear communication with the critical care transport team. A generous sign-on bonus is available with a three-year commitment, and the flight schedule consists of 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a pilot in command.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and CEM policies.
• Experience in air medical transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of assigned aircraft on all flights.
• Coordinate with flight followers regarding flight status.
• Conduct preflight/postflight inspections and documentation.
