Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive calls involving illness, injury and emergencies.
• Confirm patient location, callback number and access details.
• Ask approved questions to determine the patient condition.
• Determine response priority using the medical dispatch system.
• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources as assigned.
• Relay patient and scene information to responders.
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities.
