Job summary

Tampa Electric seeks a seasoned Manager of Emergency Management to lead the Enterprise Emergency Management Program and ensure organizational resilience. You will coordinate preparedness initiatives, support incident response, and align activities with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

The role requires senior-level experience, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to operate in high-pressure situations, including incident command during significant events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 7 years of experience in emergency management, business continuity, crisis management, or related field.
• 3 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Emergency Management Program.
• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for the EM team.
• Coordinate enterprise emergency preparedness activities, drills, and exercises.
• Serve in ICS leadership roles during activations and support EOC, Logistics, and Planning functions.
