Tampa Electric is seeking a Senior Manager of Emergency Management to lead the enterprise program, coordinate preparedness, and guide incident response. The role involves cross-functional leadership, governance, and collaboration with government partners to ensure resilience and readiness in West Central Florida.

The position requires substantial emergency management experience, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous improvement of safety and continuity programs across the utility.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in emergency management, business continuity, or related field.
• Experience supporting FEMA/NIMS/ICS-based programs is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with government agencies and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise Emergency Management Program.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, exercises, and training programs.
• Coordinate response and recovery efforts during emergencies to ensure organizational resilience.
• Provide leadership to emergency management teams and ensure readiness across functions.
