Job summary

Clemson University in Clemson, SC seeks an EM Operations professional to manage a broad program of emergency management planning, training and response across all university locations. You will oversee university plans, training, accreditation tasks and budget support under the Executive Director of Emergency Management.

Responsibilities include on-call emergency staffing, development of Incident Action Plans, planning and training programs, and coordination of EOC operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in emergency planning, operational planning, public health management, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred; three+ years in emergency management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response and Event Staffing: remain on 24-hour on-call for EM Operations Officer duties.
  • Administrative Duties: maintain records, develop program-area portions of EM website and accreditation tasks.
  • Operations: develop EM Operations protocols, on-call rosters, incident action plans and support to activate/maintain EOC operations.
  • Planning: assist in Threat and Hazard Identification, risk assessment, stakeholder preparedness review, and SOP development.
  • Training: assist in EM training program development, schedule, exercises, and after-action reporting.
