MUSC Health in Orangeburg, SC seeks an Hospital Emergency Manager to lead emergency preparedness and response programs for the site. You will develop and maintain the EOP, coordinate training, and work with internal departments and external agencies to improve readiness.
You will ensure regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission), conduct risk assessments, manage ICS activations, and support surge planning and recovery efforts.
The Hospital Emergency Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the hospital's emergency preparedness and response programs. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinates training and exercises, and collaborates with internal departments and external agencies to enhance the hospital’s ability to respond to and recover from emergencies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience: At least 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience.
