Qualifications

• Basic Requirements: ZA-III and ZA-IV experience thresholds described for GS-11 and GS-13 levels.
• Experience includes supporting emergency response program management, contingency planning, exercises, training, and disaster response/COOP coordination.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee emergency management functions related to mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
• Manage COOP and EOC operations to ensure seamless response during emergencies.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate exercises and assessments to test emergency readiness.
• Establish and enforce policies to support alternate site preparedness and organizational readiness.
• Coordinate and oversee staff training programs for preparedness.
• Implement corrective actions based on After Action Reports and propose solutions.
• Analyze operations to identify improvements and recommend strategies.
• Provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership to align with long-term objectives.
