State of Missouri is seeking an on-call Emergency Wage Rates position for snow removal at the Wayland Maintenance Facility. Hourly pay varies by season, with an extra $1 per hour for night work (7 p.m.–7 a.m.).

The role involves operating plow trucks, spreading ice control materials, and occasional vehicle/equipment maintenance. Overtime and night shifts may be required, with safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Registration in FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

What You'll Do

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic. Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds. Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (either Excepted Interstate [EI] or Non-Excepted Interstate [NI]).
• Registration in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Special Working Conditions:

• Job may require overtime and night time work.
• Job requires outdoor work that involves exposure to physical hazards, health and safety risks, and/or adverse or otherwise undesirable characteristics in the environment, including risk of physical injury from carrying out duties in heavy traffic areas, on or near heavy equipment or machinery, and with hazardous chemicals or materials
